Webmistress FAQ:

What's the deal with liking Bratz?: I've loved Bratz ever since I was ten, I'm actually very grateful they crossed into my life, it's their cool fashions that drove me to taking College fashion design classes at Long Beach City.

why do you like Asian music so much?:
my mom says it's because I was exposed to that environment growing up, my mom was always into Feng Shui to balance the house energy, but I think it's because I've been into anime ever since I was 4, and the first original Japanese Anime song I heard was Shinjitsu no Uta by Do As Infinity from InuYasha (which was my first anime since Tenchi Muyo), I bought an InuYasha soundtrack off of Ebay through my mom and researched BoA, who sung Every Heart (it was my fave InuYasha theme at the time), in less then 6 months, I've gotten into over 60 singers and bands from all around Asia (though I can only name some 1/4 of them off the top of my head half the time). I like it because they have real deep, poetic meanings to them, especially Dir en Grey's lyrics, my fave songwriter is Natsumi Watanabe, and it's not all lovey-dovey like every other bubblegum pop song here in the US, it's called Variety and Asia has it. Call me a hypocrite if you want, but most Asian singers are very much better then American singers, like the Pussycat dolls only have one real singer, the rest are just slutty back-ups, the girls were strippers in Las Vegas anyway, please, spend your money on some Utada Hikaru, and no, I don't mean her Kingdom Hearts songs, I mean her Ultra Blue album, real songs like Colors, Sakura Drops, Hikari, etc.

OMG! how can you NOT like High School Musical?!?! it's the greatest movie ever!:
um, no, it's crap. High School Musical is not even a musical, it's a cheesy 10-year-olds' rip-off of Grease. It's the worst I've seen those mindless Disney pawns come up with. Watch some real musicals like RENT, at least it's worth the money and has some TALENT. HSM is full of nothing but talentless pretty-boys & girls. It's only a matter of time before the girls reach Paris Hilton stage and get a sex tape leached on the internet, And Zac Efron; or as I like to call him, Quack Crapron, is cheesy-gay. Parents, please, you did great exposing your kids to real classics like Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, don't ruin their taste in movies by letting them watch that gay pile of ****.

Why don't you like MTV?:
MTV brainwashes people with their programs, I don't know how they do it, but it's not good for you. Screw MTV, BET, VH1, and all those second-rate music channels, IMF, the International Music Feed is the ONLY music channel I like, at least they don't play all that mainstream crap all the time like everyone else

Site FAQ:

when did you decide to make this site?
I tried joining a few websites that let you make your own webpages, but they were all too limited, and since my dad had an HTML book and just got done teaching me about computer software, I picked up the book and made one from scratch :)

how long have you been a fan of Play? and why did you make a fansite for them?
I've been a fan of Play about since Faye left, but their first CD I bought was their debut with Janet, Don't Stop the music. When I heard about the girls splitting up, my favorite Play sites started to follow the example and shut down, I decided to make my own domain that will always be up to prove that their are still fans out there who'll love their music forever even if they split. And 'Play' is still alive in die-hard fans like me.

How did you make this site?
easy, I started at the basics with a Virtually Ignorant.com tutorial, and worked my way up with other sites to tell me how to add Multi-media, pics, etc. So I pretty much taught myself all this! The actual background I made myself using an old Photoshop my dad found for me (5.0 limited version), I use it for all my backgrounds!

Are You going to make any other sites?:
Yes, I just recently launched another fansite for my favorite Japanese singer, Namie Amuro. Click here to visit it. I'm thinking about making a site for Asian music, but I want to make it a big one with sections for Korea, Japan, China, etc., but my friends can't help me run it since their not into that stuff like I am, so if your willing to help me make the ultimate Asian music site, email me and ask for a position! (ex: a few people would do artist news, a few for layouts, a few for artists biography's (I'll be doing some), etc.)

I need at least THREE people running each position so I can make sure things are stable. Positions include:

Site Designer
Site Tech (makes sure the site is functioning properly)
News Collection Team
Translation Team (From any Asian language to translate news from foreign sources and help me give lessons in those languages)
Update team (Keeps track of site updates and posts them for visitors and sends out important E-mails to members)
